"Refund came through, but it took a while"
I had a subscription issue and ended up asking for a refund. To be fair, they did give it back, but it took more back-and-forth emails than I expected. It wasn’t a terrible experience, just kind of slow and a little annoying. Curious if other people had to follow up a few times too or if I just got unlucky.

"Great photos, but I felt a little misled at first"
The photos are always sharp and really pull me in. I usually stop by when I just want to see good real-world shots that don’t look overly edited. I’ll admit I felt a bit misled at first because I expected something more staged or filtered, but the detail and natural feel are actually what made me keep coming back.

"Good for quick reads, but the freezing gets old"
The app works well most days, and pages load quickly for me. Videos usually start without much waiting too, which I appreciate when I’m reading on the train. That said, it does freeze sometimes when I switch back from another app, and then I have to close it and reopen it. It’s not the end of the world, but it happens often enough to be annoying. Overall, I still like it for quick articles and photos, but I really wish it ran a bit smoother on older phones.
"I mainly signed up for the science and..."
I mainly signed up for the science and travel stuff and for the price it seems fair. There is a ton to read and the photos are always really good. The site can be kind of annoying on my phone sometimes but it has not been a big enough issue to cancel. If you use it regularly I think it is worth it.

"Great on Mobile"
I mostly read it on my phone, and the pages load really smoothly. The photos look great too. You don’t run into any weird glitches or issues, at least not so far.

"I really like how National Geographic…"
I really like how National Geographic articles actually go deep without feeling like a chore to read. A lot of sites just kind of skim the surface, but these usually give enough background and facts that you feel like you understand the topic better. I’ll start reading about one thing and somehow end up learning something totally unexpected, which is probably why I keep coming back.

"Always a great spot for wildlife stories"
I usually go to National Geographic for the wildlife content, it never disappoints. The photos are incredible, and the animal stories are super easy to get into, even if I’m just killing a few minutes. I also love that they cover the small, weird creatures too, not just the usual lions, whales, and big-name animals. Really enjoy browsing it.
"I’ve been really happy with it…"
I’ve been really happy with it so far. There’s no buffering at all, and everything looks super clear and sharp 😄
"Works Every Time"
It loads up every time for me without any issues. Straightforward and does what I need.
"Always Feels Relevant"
I’ve been happy with the newsletter so far. The topics usually line up with things I’m already interested in or trying to learn more about, so it feels like it’s actually curated for someone like me instead of being random updates

"Privacy settings felt straightforward"
The privacy settings were easy enough to figure out, nothing about it felt sketchy to me :)
"Renewal was surprisingly easy"
I renewed my National Geographic subscription today, it was way smoother than I expected. I just logged in, checked my plan, paid, and that was it, no random errors or annoying extra steps. I got the confirmation email almost immediately too. From my experience, it’s always a relief when something like this doesn’t turn into a whole project

"Respectful Culture Coverage With a Small Caveat"
I really appreciate how National Geographic covers different cultures with a lot of respect, instead of making them feel like simple tourist attractions. The articles usually give solid background and make room for local voices, which I like. That said, every now and then, a piece can still feel a little like it’s written from the outside looking in. But overall, I enjoy the site a lot, and it’s very easy to click around and get completely lost in it

"Good for casual science reading, but not always enough"
I still enjoy National Geographic for science stories, and most of the time it feels reliable. That said, I do get frustrated when I wait for a promising article and it ends up being a little too simplified or missing the details I was hoping for. It’s great if you just want a general overview, but if I’m looking into something more serious or technical, I usually end up double-checking it somewhere else.

"They helped me quickly, which I really…"
They helped me quickly, which I really appreciated. From my experience, the only thing that could’ve been better was the explanation, I felt like they could have walked me through things a bit more clearly.

"I do like checking out the travel…"
I do like checking out the travel articles and photos because they give me some good ideas for places to go. But a few pages load kind of slow, and some of the guides don’t seem very updated, which is a bit confusing?? Still, it’s okay to browse now and then when I’m looking for inspiration.
